The Australian Cafe2U franchise has signed its first American franchisee, with Katie Luelling to begin operations in Bend, Oregon.
Luelling spent time in Australia recently to complete the ‘Acceleration Package,’ a training component where Cafe2U works beside new franchisees for two weeks to assist them in developing skills to build their customer base and daily takings.
“We are delighted to finally unveil the brand in America in the true operational sense. The US market represents a mature coffee market with many significant opportunities to stimulate growth,” said Cafe2U Managing Director Derek Black said.
“Cafe2U is already the largest mobile coffee franchise in the world, and this development in the US marks the beginning of a powerful new clientele and incredible growth opportunity.”
Cafe2U signed a Master Franchise Deal in the US earlier this year. The expansion is a positive step for the Australian-born franchise and it hopes to roll out 50 area representative franchises, and 3000 units across the US in the next five years.
The franchise will provide ongoing support to all Cafe2U franchisees internationally.
