ANZ launch free online education for small businesses

ANZ today launched a series of free online market-leading education courses and tools to help build the skills and knowledge of business owners in the start up phase.

ANZANZ General Manager for Small Business, Nick Reade, said the online training courses are part of ANZ’s commitment to supporting Australian small businesses to help them get off the ground, grow and thrive.

“We know that the majority of small businesses are online looking for information and expertise to help them with the challenges of starting and running their businesses.“

The online courses are available to both ANZ and non-ANZ small business owners on ANZ’s new-look small business website ‘The SB Hub’.

Mr Reade said “The SB Hub enables businesses to tap into a wealth of information, resources and tools that can assist them every step of the way.”

“The courses are designed to provide small businesses with information about the critical components of starting a business, such as business feasibility, evaluating market demand, building the right business model and cash flow forecasting as well as information on the practicalities of opening a business and putting together a business plan,” he said.

Participants can opt to receive weekly emails over six weeks that guide them through each lesson, as well as a course syllabus with links to key articles and training modules.

“Our courses can be completed at the individual’s own pace, in their own time, which we know is very important to time poor small businesses. You don’t have to be an ANZ customer to benefit and best of all, it’s free,” he said.
