MYOB sets new benchmark for online collaboration

MYOB, Australia’s cloud-based business solution software, announced that it would be expanding its MYOB Portal to all MYOB Partners, effective immediately. This provides unrivaled access for all MYOB Partners to have one consolidated view of their client’s files.

MYOB Portal is an online collaboration platform that allows partners to securely share sensitive documents with their clients, helping to reduce inefficiencies in the compliance workflow, improve collaboration and provide an enhanced experience to their clients.

This announcement was made at the Partner Connect conference that took place in Melbourne.

“Our products have undergone significant evolution over the past few years and we are extremely pleased to be able to offer functions such as MYOB Portal to a broader number of customers,” MYOB CEO Tim Reed said.

“At MYOB, our purpose is to help businesses succeed. Accountants and bookkeepers are the lifeblood of our business, our vision of the Connected Practice places our partners at the center of business advisory. We are proud of the work we’re delivering to strengthen the vital relationships between accountants and bookkeepers and their clients to ensure they can create a thriving business for themselves and the people they serve.”

  •   In tray will be added to the Connected ledger – the client can simply send through the receipt from their phone, and the Accountant has the source document for allocation
  •   Single Touch Payroll – first to market with nearly half a million successful STP submissions
