Tech spending to rebound in 2010
The information technology is closing its worst year on record, but is expected to return to growth next year, says reseach group Gartner Inc.
According to Gartner, worldwide tech spending will decline 5.2 percent in 2009, but will get back on track in 2010 with 3.3 percent growth year-on-year to $US3.3 trillion.
However, even with next year’s projected increase, Gartner believes the market will not recover to 2008 revenue levels before 2012.
